Natsai Nyabadza, B.S.

Natsai Prisca is from Zimbabwe. She studied Engineering and Neuroscience at Smith College, and has worked in protein engineering and drug discovery for pharmaceutical company Merck. Now Natsai works to identify matrix molecules responsible for promoting anti-inflammatory glial cell phenotypes by studying the interactions between patient-derived cancer cells and glial cells. Natsai enjoys dancing, knitting, Rubik's cube, & collecting pretty rocks.

Bridgit Foss, B.S.

Bridgit is from West Chester, PA. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering at Bucknell University. Her previous research experience focused on microfluidics and neuro-science technology. Now, she is studying the role of fluid shear stress in astrocyte function at the blood brain barrier. In her free time, Bridgit enjoys hiking, reading, knitting, and rural drives.
